*Applications are now open* for the 2025 Summer School on Informatics 
Education Research (SCHIER).

SCHIER is *the only summer school in Europe exclusively focused on* 
research in Informatics Education, *a growing and vital field recognised

by the EU Council.*

*When:* 8–12 September 2025
*Where:* UCLouvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium
*Who should attend:* PhD students, postdocs, and researchers with an 
interest in Informatics Education Research

Building on the success of its inaugural edition last year, SCHIER 2025 
offers a week of:

  * *Expert-led lectures and interactive sessions* on key topics and
    methodologies.
  * *Collaborative discussions *on emerging research challenges.
  * *Networking opportunities* that foster meaningful, long-term
    collaboration and advancement.

*Applications are now open*, limited to *40 participants* on a 
*first-come, first-served* basis. Basic registration fees are as follows:

  * EUR 350 for Participants from IE member institutes
