Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to share with you the */Informatics Europe 2024 
Activities Report/*, our inaugural annual report showcasing the major 
achievements and impact of our association over the past year.

As a new initiative, the report provides a comprehensive overview of 
2024 activities, *structured around our strategic focus areas*: 
education, research, diversity & inclusion, green ICT, ethics, and 
community engagement. It also serves as *a central source for all key 
reports, recommendations, and activities* produced by our working groups 
and community.

We warmly thank all our member institutions, particularly the many 
colleagues who volunteer their time and expertise, for making these 
results possible. *Your engagement is the driving force behind our 
collective impact.*

With this report, we reaffirm our commitment to transparency, 
collaboration, and leadership in shaping the future of Informatics 
research and education in Europe. Moving forward, we will publish our 
activities report annually to document our progress and keep our members 
and stakeholders informed and engaged.
