Informatics Education Research (SCHIER).</p>
<p>SCHIER is <b>the only summer school in Europe exclusively
focused on</b> research in Informatics Education, <b>a
growing and vital field <a
href="https://www.informatics-europe.org/images/documents/IE-PhD-School-Informatics-Education-Research.pdf"
moz-do-not-send="true">recognised</a> by the EU Council.</b></p>
<p><b>When:</b> 8–12 September 2025<br>
<b>Where:</b> UCLouvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium<br>
<b>Who should attend:</b> PhD students, postdocs, and
researchers with an interest in Informatics Education Research</p>
<p>Building on the success of its inaugural edition last year,
SCHIER 2025 offers a week of:</p>
<ul>
<li><b>Expert-led lectures and interactive sessions</b> on key
topics and methodologies.</li>
<li><b>Collaborative discussions </b>on emerging research
challenges.</li>
<li><b>Networking opportunities</b> that foster meaningful,
long-term collaboration and advancement.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Applications are now open</b>, limited to <b>40
participants</b> on a <b>first-come, first-served</b> basis.
Basic registration fees are as follows:</p>

<li>EUR 400 for other participants</li>
