[Ethical-informatics] Invitation to the Ethics4EU Multiplier Event in Zurich, 7 May 2020

Dear Colleagues,

Informatics Europe is partner in the Erasmus+ Project Ethics4 EU - 
Ethical Computer Science Education for Europe 
<https://sites.google.com/dit.ie/ethics4eu/home>. The Ethics4EU project, 
which got a total funding of near half million euros, aims at creating 
open source, widely used concrete resources for the teaching of Ethics 
in Computer Science higher education programs across Europe.

The digital ethical landscape is changing at an astonishing rate, as 
technologies become more complex, and people choose to interact with 
them in new and distinct ways. It is vitally important that creators and 
developers of these technologies do not live in an ethical vacuum, that 
they think about the impact, uses and abuses of their creations, and 
take some measure to prevent others being harmed by their work. To equip 
them with the knowledge to rise to this challenge and create a positive 
future for the use of technology, it is important that ethics becomes 
integral part of Computer Science higher education across Europe.

Informatics Europe will be organizing a *multiplier event within the 
Ethics4EU project in Zurich on 7 May 2020 (10:00-16:00) *at the 
*Institute of Informatics of the University of Zurich*, in Oerlikon. The 
main goals of the meeting is to disseminate and create awareness in the 
region and country about the core issues addressed by the project, as 
well as to foster a networking o people working or interested in the 
topics mentioned above. The event will include a number of speakers and 
a discussion panel including experts in Ethics, academics, and 
professionals working in areas, roles or projects where ethical or legal 
aspects are central or highly relevant.  A program will be soon

As you have already being collaborating with us in the topic, we are 
very happy to invite you to attend the event and actively participate in 
the discussions. We will be able to offer a few travel grants, if you 
are interested in attending the event and need travel support, please
