<p>As President of Informatics Europe, I am pleased to introduce
the <b>inaugural issue of <i>IE Perspectives</i></b>, our new
magazine shaped by, and for, the European Informatics community
we have built over the past two decades. It offers a dedicated
space for diverse perspectives on our discipline, leading
strategic and managerial practices, and high-quality research
from across our network.</p>
<p>Through collaboration and advocacy, Informatics Europe has long
worked to strengthen Informatics as a distinct scientific
discipline, support evidence-based decision-making, and promote
responsible and forward-looking practices in research and
education. <i>IE Perspectives</i> builds on this engagement by
supporting the continued dialogues, evolution and impact of
Informatics in Europe.<br>
