*Save the date: 27-29 October* for the *European Informatics Leaders 
Summit (ECSS 2025)*, taking place in *Rennes, France.*

*Co-hosted by Informatics Europe (IE) and member institute IRISA*, this 
year’s Summit is *part of IRISA’s 50th anniversary celebrations*, 
celebrating one of France’s oldest and largest Informatics labs and its 
enduring scientific and societal contributions, which IE proudly 
supports. ECSS 2025 is sponsored by Inria, University of Rennes, 
University of Zurich, and Rennes Métropole.

      o *Prof. Manuel Wimmer* (Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria)
        on *Integrating Quantum Technologies into European Informatics
        Departments*;

Informatics research and education across Europe.

*A warm reminder: ECSS 2025 will host IE’s Annual General Assembly 
(AGA)*, where key decisions shaping the organisation’s direction are 
made. While only *official representatives of IE members may vote*, the 
AGA welcomes all ECSS participants. Please *ensure your institution is 
represented, either by attending yourself or designating a colleague.*
