other, and how can they be utilized to bring greater benefits to
science, education and the society?/With this year’s main theme
“*Workforce for the Digital Transformation*”, the 18th European Computer
Science Summit (ECSS 2022)will be addressing this key topic from the
scientific as well as economic, political and social perspectives.
The programme also includes the Informatics Europe special session, with

Knowing that ECSS is the only summit devoted to the discussion of common
strategic and policy issues in informatics shared across Europe, special

interaction, discussion and knowledge sharing*. The welcome cocktail on
Monday and officialdinner on Tuesday eveningwill allow for further
