(European Commission's digital department) regarding increasing women 
participation as reviewers, evaluators and speakers.

1) *All-male panels in tech: we say no! *

Robert Madelin, Director-General at the DG CONNECT, has recently 
announced a new policy of his departmentregarding the participation of 
women as speakers or panelists:

1. DG CONNECT will always include at least two women speakers at events 
which they organise

2. DG CONNECT staff will no longer accept invitations to speak on 
all-male panels or at all-male conferences organised by outside 
stakeholders.

DG CONNECT is seeking more women scientists and professionals to 
evaluate and review Horizon2020 projects in the field of ICT research.
